Meet the Owner
With over 25 years of experience in plastic surgery and medical spa aesthetics, Katrina Chavez is a trusted leader, mentor, and educator in the advanced aesthetics industry. Her journey began in 2000 as a Certified Laser Technician and Skin Care Specialist, and has since grown into a purpose-driven mission to educate, empower, and elevate.
Before founding Katica Advanced Aesthetics, Katrina served as Director and Lead Educator at a boutique esthetics school, where she developed and led advanced training programs that helped shape the careers of hundreds of professionals. Her leadership set new standards for hands-on learning, small class education, and mentorship in aesthetics.
Now, as the founder of Katica, Katrina combines her expertise
with a modern, mentorship-based approach to education and results-driven skincare. She offers state-approved certifications, personalized training, and advanced treatments — all designed to help providers grow with confidence, credibility, and clarity. Known for her calm presence and nurturing style, Katrina is committed to staying at the forefront of the industry. She continues to revolutionize aesthetics education in Colorado, preparing the next generation of professionals to lead, thrive, and truly love what they do.

Advanced Modality Certification
Our advanced training program covers microneedling, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, and dermaplane fundamentals — with a strong focus on safety, technique, and real-world application. You’ll build the skills and confidence to grow in medical aesthetics. All programs are DPOS certified.
Certified Laser Specialist (Coming Soon– Join the Waitlist)
This 40-hour state-approved program establishes the critical groundwork for a successful laser career. You’ll learn the science, safety, and foundational techniques behind laser hair removal, IPL, vascular reduction, and skin rejuvenation. Beginning with fundamentals ensures you understand how energy interacts with skin—setting you up for safe practice, consistent results, and a strong transition into advanced modalities.
As part of Katica’s Laser Mentorship approach, students also receive personalized guidance designed to refine technique, strengthen clinical decision-making, and build lasting confidence as they grow into more advanced laser work.
